The immersionist relates ritual baptism to Christ's death, burial and resurrection and on the ground of the fact that the believer is said to have been baptized into Christ's death, burial, and resurrection according to Romans 6:1-10 and Colossians 2:11-13. My grandmother finally, after my grandfather died, got baptized in the Baptist church of her childhood. She was 72 years old. I think there is a story here, but it does not need to be committed to paper.
