Blessed Assurance - For The People Of God

Isaiah 32
13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers.....
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

At first, I thought this was about the second coming. Then I thought it had something to do with the coming reign of Hezikiah. On some level I'm sure it does. Upon further reflection, however, it more and more appears to predict the coming of the church age - when - with righteousness - we can have blessed assurance....for ever....

With a verse like this. What a great way to start the day....
