The Nicola'itans

Deuteronomy 11
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

The more I think about theology, about the deeper meanings of God's message, God's will, the more I think about dispensationalism, about Covenant Theology, about Calvinism, about the Five Solas, about Arminianism....the more I think about and study these things, the more obvious God's simple message becomes.

That simple message is about humble living and a sinner's singular focus on God. Following, for further edification, is the New Testament echo of the above Old Testament passage....

Revelations 2
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Ba'laam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicola'itans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent...

It 55 degrees out. The sun is brilliant. It's going to be a good day to be a Christian.
