Peter And The Church (And Babylon?)

1 Peter 5
13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

When I retire, and if might have the mind for it, I would like to spend a year studying about and writing about the subject of Babylon in the Bible. Then, I would like to spend a year studying about and writing about the subject of the Kingdom in the Bible.

That being said, this post just notes the odd occurance of the word Babylon - in 1 Peter 5. I do not want to forget the passage above: It helps - me - to understand Daniel and Revelations.
